Klara Jecza is an artist belonging to the 1970s generation. Her work is a great example of the experimental practices, which have been pioneered în Timișoara in those years. Her tapestries, monotypes and drawings are best described by elementary and essentialization forms, resorting the rigours of simple geometric elements, stylization and reduced organic metaphors. Her compositions have a strong monumental character.
